166 Crosby Street is a Classical Revival loft building designed by Robert Maynicke and built in 1897.  Renaissance Properties wanted to upgrade the lobby of this Noho landmark to embrace the energy of the surrounding neighborhood.  Studio T+L worked with Renaissance and Workshop/APD to create an updated lobby with LED lighting for a branded coffee shop, and a showstopper central chandelier that is visible from Crosby Street to draw passersby into the space.  We also lit back of house spaces, including newly added bike storage and showers, to meet commuter needs.
